“If you’re in Sicily for the first time and have no knowledge of Sicilian wines and cheeses, I recommend you take this as soon as possible. You get a nice quick overview of what to look for. The hostess is very charming, adorable and accommodating, so you probably get some good advices of where to go and where not to go in Palermo. Also, her homemade snacks and olive oil were absolutely delicious. This was most probably the best winetasting that we have experienced.”

“The tour and tasting will make your afternoon as fantastic as possible. We were lucky, first because this year the winery celebrates their 200 years anniversary. Secondly, because the owner had opened a vintage bottle year 2013 in the morning, and that was added to our tasting as a plus. They can easily accommodate vegetarians and people with dietary restrictions during the tasting. Also families with children are welcome. We couldn't have a better experience with wines in Sicily. Definitely recommend this activity.”

We were able to switch a dessert wine to another one, since were not fans of sweet wines. The Bottega is right next to the busy via Roma and easy to access by taxi or walking. A great start for a night in a restaurant! Would definitely recommend!”
